LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SiteMommy, a product of OrbitKnox ("SiteMommy," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use SiteMommy.com and related monitoring services.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, encrypted authentication information handled by our authentication provider, account identifiers, sign-in activity, and records showing which legal notice version you accepted.
Portfolio and monitoring information
We collect the domains and URLs you add, website names, folders, monitoring preferences, website response results, uptime history, SSL and domain-expiration information, diagnostic results, alert settings, public-status-page settings, and information you choose to include in reports or integrations.
Technical information
Our hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, timestamps, request logs, error logs, and security events needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Files you select
In the current release, CSV portfolio parsing and screenshot text recognition occur in your browser. Those selected files are not intentionally uploaded to SiteMommy's server. Imported domain results may be saved to your account after you approve them.
2. How we use information
- Provide accounts, portfolio synchronization, monitoring, diagnostics, alerts, reports, and support.
- Authenticate users, enforce plan limits, prevent misuse, and secure the service.
- Maintain and improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Communicate service, security, account, and billing information.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Legal bases where applicable
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent when consent is required.
4. How information is shared
We may share information with service providers that help us operate SiteMommy, such as hosting, authentication and database, email or SMS delivery, monitoring, support, security, and payment providers. If you enable an integration, information may be sent to the integration you select. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
SiteMommy does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Browser storage and cookies
SiteMommy uses browser storage and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember settings, preserve a working local portfolio copy, and secure the service. We do not currently use advertising cookies. See our Cookie & Local Storage Notice.
6. Retention
We retain account and portfolio information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service. After deletion, limited records may remain for a reasonable period in backups, security logs, fraud-prevention records, or where law requires retention.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted HTTPS connections, authenticated monitoring endpoints, access controls, request limits, and security headers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and to appeal certain privacy decisions. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To submit a request, email privacy@sitemommy.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Because we do not currently sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising, SiteMommy does not presently offer a sale/share opt-out. If those practices change, we will update this notice and provide required choices before the change takes effect.
9. International use
SiteMommy and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Children
SiteMommy is a business and portfolio-management service intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and accounts may be created only by people who can legally agree to our Terms.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy as the service or law changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required.
